Belt conveyor for plastic granulator feeding

From scrap collection to the feed point

A belt conveyor moves plastic material toward the receiving equipment. For granulator feeding, describe the scrap as it arrives on the belt and show the position of the machine inlet. Loose offcuts and large rejected parts can require different handling arrangements.

Include the collection point, required discharge height and available floor space. A layout with the granulator makes it easier to review the complete feed route, including how the belt will be loaded.

Specify the material, not only the belt length

Provide representative piece dimensions, the quantity arriving during production and whether material is supplied continuously or in batches. Identify contamination or mixed materials that could affect the proposed route.

The quotation should identify the conveyor dimensions, drive arrangement and connection with the receiving machine. A conveyor does not establish that the granulator can process every item placed on it.

Review the receiving machine
