Collect the strip where it is produced

The RG-3640X and RG-4060X source descriptions use air suction to bring continuous edge strips from a production line into the granulator. The linked catalogue identifies the same application for cast-film, calendering and extrusion operations. Cut material can be conveyed toward the extrusion return route.

This feed arrangement is suited to review around individual edge strips. A roll-fed skeleton or a batch of collected bags has a different presentation. Show each strip's width and thickness, the resin and the maximum line speed, together with the distance from the cutting point to the granulator.

Lay out the pneumatic route

The inlet pipes, material collection and return connection should be specified as one route. Mark changes of direction and the receiving equipment on a simple drawing. Include how strips will be introduced during start-up and what happens when the extrusion line stops.

Choose the cutter and receiving process together
