Follow the material through both stages

The SSG arrangement combines a shredder with a granulator. The first stage cuts bulky incoming material into pieces that pass directly to the second cutting stage below. Public source descriptions name RG-2240SSG and RG-2260SSG.

The combined arrangement removes the separate transfer route between two standalone machines. It still requires a coordinated specification: the shredder feed, material transfer and granulator screen must suit the same waste stream.

What arrives at the first cutter?

Show the largest purge or reject, its shape, polymer and thickest section. Distinguish a solid production lump from a hollow molded part or a loosely packed roll. Give the required output for the next process, since a final regrind requirement affects the second stage as well as the first.

The catalogue describes low-speed shredding followed by granulation. A standalone single-shaft shredder is a different installation scope and may use a separate transfer system.

Discharge and service access

The SSGD source identifies an optional dedusting arrangement. Specify output collection and dust handling separately from the two cutting stages. Leave room to reach the shredder tools, granulator blades and screens for maintenance. Include operating schedule, batch changes and available height in the inquiry so the complete installation can be reviewed before a model is selected.
