Medium-speed plastic granulator

A screen forms part of the cutting task

RG-16R and RG-21R are medium-speed granulators for sprues and small plastic rejects beside molding machines. The published construction uses paddle blades and a screen below the cutting area. Screen selection should be reviewed against the required regrind and the actual material.

Photographs should show a complete sprue and any attached rejects. Include the polymer and whether the waste arrives warm or at room temperature. Flexible runners and thick junctions should be identified rather than hidden within a general description of injection scrap.

Choose the receiving arrangement

The catalogue describes blower collection, a manual collection box and a proportional-valve return option. Some RY descriptions use a different receiving box arrangement. Record the chosen arrangement in the machine specification so a collection accessory is not mistaken for a change in the cutting principle.

The robot or conveyor feed point and the outlet route should be shown together. For immediate return, identify the molding machine's receiving hopper and the material-handling equipment already installed.

Keep the electrical option separate

Plan safe blade and screen access for cleaning between batches, then send the required hourly quantity and regrind use with the equipment inquiry.
